The Northern Kentucky Master Gardener Association sponsors the following horticultural projects and fundraisers:
The purpose of the NKYMGA Community Grant is to provide financial assistance, leadership and mentoring for horticultural beautification and gardening projects for public non-profit institutions.
The NKYMGA Grant Committee is currently requesting horticultural project proposals for consideration. Ideally the project will directly or indirectly benefit multiple counties represented by the NKYMGA, ie. Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties.
All requests should include, at a minimum, contact information for the requestor and a brief description of the project as well as the identification of the public non-profit institution. A member of the Grant Committee will contact the requestor and gather a complete project description along with estimated costs. Completion date for the project can be no later than October 31, 2020.
Deadline for requests is April 12, 2020.
The Community Grant Committee will meet and vote on which project(s) to recommend for funding to the NKYMGA Board. The Board will in turn either approve or decline the request.
If you know of a non-profit organization that would benefit from participating in our Grant program, please have them submit a letter of request to us at the following address:
Completed applications should be mailed to:

NKYMGA Logo Merchandise:
Because of all of the requests that we’ve received for logo merchandise, we are once again pulling together a merchandise order. Debbie Turner will have samples of the following items at the Mellow Mushroom Social on January 21. She will be accepting orders that night, but all orders must be accompanied with a check/money order. I apologize for the inconvenience, but we are not allowed to accept cash or credit cards. Checks/money orders made payable to NKYMGA will be accepted at the Mellow Mushroom Social on January 21. Colors can be chosen from the catalog that will be available that night. If you want to order something, but forget your check book that night, Debbie will be accepting orders for a few days following the social. Those who want to order merchandise, but can't make the dinner, can still send Debbie an order at her home address: 15 Blue Rock Court, Alexandria, KY 41001. Be sure to specific your color choice. Debbie will contact you if that color isn't available in the merchandise that you selected, and work with you to revise your order. There were just too many colors to list all of them on this form.
All mail orders must be postmarked by Friday, January 24. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup. This email will detail the date and time when the order can be picked up at your designated extension office.
