MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of the Northern Kentucky Master Gardener Association is to promote, strengthen and support the University of Kentucky Master Gardener education program.

Welcome to the Northern Kentucky Master Gardener Association

The Master Gardener Program, initiated to meet the needs of home gardeners for horticultural information, was created in Washington state in 1973, and now has Master Gardener volunteers active in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The Northern Kentucky Master Gardener Program, a partnership among the County Cooperative Extension Offices of Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties, was established in 2003 with its first class being held in Boone County in 2004.
